One Oak Artwear is a company dedicated to creating unique, high-quality clothing using repurposed fabrics.

Our mission is to provide fashion-conscious consumers with eco-friendly alternatives without compromising on style or quality. According to the EPA, 85% of discarded textiles end up in a landfill or burned. An estimated 17 million tons of textiles were sent to landfills in 2018. The global fashion industry’s calamitous effects on the environment cannot be overstated, to say nothing of the human cost. One OAK uses pre-existing materials in our work to denounce and disrupt this toxic system that espouses throwaway culture and views human labor as something to be exploited. By interacting thoughtfully and intentionally with each textile’s innate history, we honor the resources and labor that went into creating them in the first place
